The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) definitely had a fruitful time during December and January as we welcomed several delegations from East Asia, including Taiwan, Japan, and Korea, and hosted the High Commission of Rwanda in Singapore.
Although the visitors came from several different countries and ministries, common topics of interest included the digitisation of processes, the use of smart technology in land management, and OneMap – SLA’s own national map application. This shared focus on harnessing technology means other countries can learn from our processes just as we learn from theirs.

The High Commission of Rwanda – 11th December 2019
Chief Executive Mr Tan Boon Khai (3rd from left) hosted the High Commission of
the Republic of Rwanda. The new High Commissioner, Jean de Dieu Uwihanganye,
highlighted the similarities between the two countries and looked forward to
closer collaborations in the future.
